Dear Friends - Members of Laennec Liver Pathology Society,
I would like to warmly welcome you to Laennec Hong Kong 2019. I am glad to let you know that the meeting will be April 24 - 26, 2019 (Wed to Fri), starting with a dinner on April 24 (Wed) and ending with a farewell dinner on April 26 Friday evening. The main scientific meeting will be held over 2 full days. This is in accordance with what we have recently and generally agreed with.
The tentative program has been prepared (please see attached). This is also the registration form for the meeting. Please fill in the registration form and send to Ms Selina Lam at firstname.lastname@example.org. To allow us to better arrange the venue and other events, it would be great if you could return the form to Ms Lam preferably by January 31, 2019 (Thu).
The venue for the meeting will be in Harbourview hotel in Wanchi, Hong Kong. We have obtained special hotel rates for the period before, during and a few days after our meeting (please see attached). Please book the hotel directly using the hotel reservation form and email directly to the hotel at email@example.com.

A recent article by Prodromos and Neil, as part of a miniseries on liver pathology edited by Christine. The paper summarizes the experience accumulated in the past 18 years in the field of regression of cirrhosis. As we all know, Ian's pioneering article in year 2000 practically inaugurated this field and introduced the modern way of thinking in pathology of chronic liver diseases. The great contribultions of that article are emphasized in this review - Prodromos ("Mike") H .

paper on the interstitium has been published in Nature's Scientific Reports and aired on CBC TV (The National) yesterday and will air tomorrow on CBC radio (program called Quirks and Quarks, available now on CBC site).
